At Halloween time, my kitchen is covered in candy eyeballs, fondant ghosts, spatters of orange, green, and purple, candy corn, licorice legs, apples in various coatings... I could keep going, but suffice to say making Halloween party treats is oodles of fun!

Kids can get in on this fun: have them help with rolling and shaping the haunting little ghosts, rolling apples in candy coating and then adding eyeballs, or sandwiching some spiders!

I shared these Halloween creations with Meteorologist Amanda Thibault (she helped me sandwich a spider!) on the Morning Brew program of Fox Local 22/Local 44 news.

Click below to watch our Halloween treat segment. And below this video are recipes for my four, creepy, spooky Halloween treats.

    Halloween Party Treats Recipes!

    Creepy Eyeballs Candy Coated Apples
A fun Halloween treat that has its eyes on you! Brightly-colored candy dips, lots of creepy eyeballs, and they only take 30 minutes to make.

    Chocolate Halloween Witch Hats
These witchy hat treats are just as endearing as witchy costumes. Their appeal is threefold: one part chocolaty cone, one part chocolaty cookie, and one part hidden treat inside!

These individual, chocolaty brownies have a cream cheese layer... and a spooky visitor!
    Boo Brownies
Make a batch of Halloween-themed brownies! Scary Boo Brownies have little fondant ghosts haunting chocolate treats with a crackled cream cheese topping.

      All look so good...

I love fondant. We had fondant on our wedding cake. Yum!

It's as much fun to play with as it is to eat it!
