This margarita has the simple but ever-so-enjoyable flavor combination of a Fuzzy Navel cocktail: orange and peach. The orange in the drink comes from Triple Sec, and the peach from homemade peach nectar.
And there's tequila in there too, of course!
Why you'll love this margarita

The flavors of the margarita are wonderfully soft and sweet - much different than a traditional margarita full of zingy citrus. This peachy margarita is refreshing and just lovely.

You can buy peach nectar for this recipe, but I really hope you try making your own. It's easy and fast, and if you have any leftover nectar you can whip up a bellini.

🔪 How to make a Fuzzy Navel Margarita
Step 1: Combine the juice and spirits

Pour the peach nectar, tequila, and Triple Sec into a cocktail shaker or a jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake them together well.
Step 2: Dip the rims

Dip the rims of your glasses in orange juice and then in sugar. Carefully add ice cubes to the glasses.
Step 3: Pour and serve

Pour the margarita mixture over the ice and serve the drinks immediately.
Tips:

- I like to have all the liquids chilled ahead of time to make a very cold margarita. If this isn't possible there are two options: you can mix the margaritas ahead of time and chill the mixture before pouring it into the glasses. Or, add ice to the jar when you shake the liquids to mix them.
- As I mention above, making your own peach nectar is easy and fast. You can make a batch for these margaritas, and also add a splash to seltzers or even add some to a pitcher of sangria. The instructions to make your own peach nectar are below in the recipe.

- Do you own margarita glasses? If yes - great! If like me you do not, here are two other options: a lil' mason jar for a cute and casual margarita, or a champagne flute for a fancy-pants margarita. From either vessel, it still tastes sweet and fuzzy.
- Consider stashing your margarita glasses in the freezer ahead of time to get them really cold for your drinks.
Sweet and fuzzy is also how I start to feel after multiple rounds of taste-testing margaritas! The recipe for the Fuzzy Navel Margarita is below. Here are couple of other margaritas, too:

- 4 fluid ounces Tequila, silver
- 1 fluid ounces Triple Sec orange liqueur
- 2 Glasses
- Ice
- Granulated sugar for the rims
- Orange juice in shallow dish for the rims (Or an orange slice to rub along the rims)
Instructions

- Pour the peach nectar, tequila and Triple Sec into a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake the jar to combine everything.
- Dip the rims of the glasses in the orange juice (or rub an orange slice along the rims to moisten them.) Then dip the rims lightly into the sugar. Carefully place ice cubes into each glass.
- Pour the shaken mixture carefully into each glass. (If you had ice in the jar you can strain this out.) Serve the drinks immediately.
*To make your own peach nectar:
- Add 2 cups of fresh or frozen peach slices to a saucepan along with 1 cup of water, ⅔-cup of granulated sugar and 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, then cook for another 6 minutes or so until the peach slices are soft.
- Remove the pan from the heat and let it cool a little. Then puree it all in a blender until the nectar is completely smooth. Refrigerate it until it's completely chilled. Makes 2 cups.
