With the abundance of fresh veggies available now and coming into season over the next month or two, it’s a perfect time to think about making salsa.
Today was another lucky day for me, to be able to join the fun and hungry crew at the Morning Brew show, on the Local 44 News (WVNY/WFFF) to share four of my salsas with Meteorologist Amanda Thibault.
The first salsa I shared was for a simple yet delicious Pico de Gallo. Fresh tomatoes, onion, scallion, cilantro, lime and salt.
Next is a salsa with the traditional ingredients of tomato, onion, jalapeños and bell pepper. However all the ingredients get some time on the grill before getting chopped up and tossed together. Grilled Corn Salsa is smoky and sweet.

Take advantage of produce deals at the grocery store and fresh locally grown veggies at your Farmer’s Market. Then like Amanda suggested, put all those veggies into a salsa!
