I just discovered Yummly and I can’t believe it took me this long!
Yummly has been around since 2010, and was created to be the “ultimate kitchen tool.” It is a beautiful recipe collection site that helps you in several ways:
Search the recipe collections on Yummly for what you need.
Yummly has recipes from thousands of websites and blogs. You can narrow your recipe search based on course, ingredient and occasion to name a few. Your search results can be further customized to specified preparation time, dietary requirements, cooking techniques, taste preferences and a bunch more! Want to find a chicken recipe ready in 15 minutes, gluten-free, oven-baked, and moderately salty? You can do it!
When you sign up you can also set your food preferences.
Yummly will show you recipes to fit your favorite cuisines with ingredients you like, leaving out the ones you don’t like!
Add recipes that you find online to your Yummly Recipe Box.
When you see recipes online anywhere that you want to save, “Yum” it! Click on the Yum button on the site, or the bookmarklet tool on your browser.
Chock full of information.
The recipes include nutritional information, taste ratings for saltiness, sweetness, etc., links to the original website, and easy links to print or share the recipe with others.
I created a page for Hungry Enough To Eat Six and I would be tickled pink if you would click here and check it out! Also, I have added a Yum button to my posts so that my recipes can be added to YOUR Recipe Boxes! See?
I have been having a lot of fun exploring this site, creating collections and adding recipes. I really encourage you to check it out!
