This cocktails round-up is sparkling and brimming with New Year’s Eve Champagne Cocktails!
These drinks are elegant, festive, and mostly fruity. Though I tried to steer clear of orange juice cocktails, as those seem more brunch-y to me, I did include one cocktail made with blood oranges. ‘Blood orange’ sounds so exotic and sultry!
A classic cocktail from 1915 with quite a kick: Champagne, gin, simple syrup and lemon. From BonAppetit.com.
See, doesn’t it sound exotic and sultry? A step up from an ordinary mimosa, yet still a very simple combination of blood orange juice and Champagne. From MarthaStewart.com.
This is one I know I will try this New Year’s Eve, it just sounds so delicious. Champagne or prosecco with a slush of vodka and lemon sorbet. Oh so yummy! From DrinkOfTheWeek.com.
The link to this beauty has a helpful video, although it couldn’t be easier to assemble. Champagne and limoncello with raspberries and crushed ice. Voila! I think I will be making these as well! From PopSugar.com.
Yes, another excuse to combine sorbet and Champagne – I hope no one minds! This is very simple: a small scoop of sorbet into a glass of Champagne. You choose the flavor or experiment with several! From MarthaStewart.com.
6) Midnight Kiss
I can’t pass up a chocolatey cocktail. This drink sounds divine and has a lovely amber glow. In it Champagne is combined with amaretto and chocolate liqueur. It also calls for shaved chocolate for the rim – I think golden demerara sugar on the rim might look a little more elegant, but the cocktail will satisfy either way! From Celebrations.com.
