Pulled together here is a collection of delicious and creative holiday Beer Cocktails. I hope you (and I) get to try a bunch!

Happy December everyone! I’m so excited about the holidays. I do my best not to stress and I don’t grumble when I hear Christmas songs over and over. I love the giddy, excited anticipation, lights strung on houses and trees, spiced cookies, stockings by the chimney, and especially holiday parties.

There are so many creative, beautiful, delicious holiday cocktail recipes out there just waiting to be shaken and stirred for our stylish and decadent holiday gatherings!

Last December I shared in a post titled 7 Beautiful & Delicious Holiday Cocktails about how my typical lack of pre-planning for holiday guests resulted more often than not in having just a lukewarm six-pack of PBR on hand. And maybe a half-bottle of wine. No more of that: I’d like to get a jump on holiday spirits planning.

To that end, for you and for me (and perhaps also to help with those inevitable, dysfunctional family gatherings) I’ve pulled together five collections of beautiful and delicious cocktails. I hope you (and I) get to try a bunch!

Here is the round-up for Very Merry Beer Cocktails!

Here we come a-wassailing! I think that means singing, but I find the idea of skipping along on a frosty evening with a mug of this warming drink much more appealing. It’s a lovely punch of ale, cider, and lemonade, spiced with cinnamon, allspice, and clove! From MyRecipes.com.

2) Guinness Double Chocolate Malted Milkshake with Bailey’s Whipped Cream

This indulgent drink comes from one of my favorite food blogs, Foodie With Family (go check out this amazing and lovely site!) Luscious homemade Bailey’s whipped cream atop a float of Guinness stout and chocolate ice cream… and with crushed Whoppers.

Okay, just put down that silly, foil-wrapped chocolate Santa, and get this into your mitts instead!

How elegant is this! A Black Velvet would be right at home at a New Year’s celebration too. A flute of delicate champagne is topped with a hearty stout. From TheDrinksBusiness.com.

More like “Sweet Me” with this lovely. Brown ale, Southern Comfort, bourbon and Vermont maple syrup. Sink into the armchair by the Christmas tree with this little drink in your hand, and watch visions of sugarplums dance in your head. From TheDrinksBusiness.com.

Hopefully no one in your house is being a bitter devil during the holidays. Better to drink one instead. This drink packs a seasonally-fitting bite of ginger: ginger beer that is, along with a dash of Jim Beam. From Cosmopolitan.com.

The name of this drink had me first (wink wink), and then curiosity over the combination of flavors. The “dirty” part of this drink is black lager and cognac. The “snowman” is a puddle of coconut milk at the top. The rim of the glass is coated in chopped cocoa nibs and hazelnuts. So, I threw one of these together for myself to try (twist my arm) and the pics above are mine.  I have tasted the Dirty Snowman: it is potent, nutty, and now I am dirty too.

Here are all the Holiday Cocktail Round-ups:

Fruity Cocktails

Candy Bar Cocktails

Holiday Spice Cocktails

Champagne Cocktails

Have fun with these Beer Cocktails, and cheers!

Not much into cocktails, I drink scotch and water or wine. Once in a while I might have a Rob Roy which is the scotch version of Manhatten. I really don’t like dark beers. Hubby drinks gin and tonic. We have rum, brandy and vodka in house if anyone wants it.
